THE ARTISTS' INITIATIVE FROM SOUTH AFRICA
The Travelling Art Gallery is dedicated to presenting compelling works by emerging and established artists to an international audience. Since its debut in 2018, the gallery has realised over 20 dynamic pop-up exhibitions in cities including Hamburg, Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, Kitzbuehel, and Palma de Mallorca, now showcasing works across exhibition spaces of up to 1,000 square metres.
Alongside these large-scale presentations, The Travelling Art Gallery curates more intimate art events, extending its reach as far as New York and Miami.
An ever-growing community of art lovers and collectors with a passion for bold, expressive and colourful art is discovering and acquiring works through our initiative.

With more than 25 participating artists, The Travelling Art Gallery celebrates creativity in its fullest sense, with each artist contributing a distinctive visual language and individual artistic expression that reflects their unique perspective and practice.

Rooted in integrity, the initiative is built on genuine collaboration and serves as a meaningful platform and important source of income for the artists, supporting their practice in a fair, transparent, and sustainable way.
SHOWTIME
Each exhibition of The Travelling Art Gallery is marked by a dedicated opening evening in the respective city, bringing together invited guests, collectors, previous buyers and friends of the artists' initiative. These openings are conceived as warm, celebratory gatherings where art becomes a shared experience, a moment to connect, exchange and celebrate the belief that art has the power to bring people together across backgrounds and borders.
IMPRESSIONS
For our large-scale pop-up exhibitions, we temporarily transform vacant retail spaces in prominent city-centre locations into fully realised, high-end galleries. Carefully selected for their visibility and surroundings, each empty space is fitted out with professional gallery walls, lighting and infrastructure, creating a refined exhibition environment that exists for a limited time only.
