SOUTH AFRICAN ART THAT TRAVELS
The Travelling Art Gallery has no permanent address, instead positioning itself wherever the right opportunity emerges. Carefully selected vacant properties of 500 square metres and more, located in prime city-centre areas with generous shopfront visibility, form the setting for its exhibitions.
From the outset, the artists’ initiative has been met with an enthusiastic response, accompanied by widespread and positive media attention. Supported by committed sponsors and private initiatives, the artists and organisers are proud to continue this evolving series of exhibitions — with many more compelling presentations still to come.
